My suggestion would be to try to integrate them, anyway. We can fix CONFIG_SMP in sparc/sparc64 in cvs, they are not integrated with linus, anyway. Talk to davem or jj (added to Cc:), I think they would be willing to clean up minor problems.

Well, if Linus is to speak up, you'd first have to ask him. (I bet he does not follow linux-kernel too much).
