I get trouble mounting remote NFS shares on my PII box (Dell OptiPlex GX1) with 2.1.125.
During the init (sorry for not being more verbose: nothing is logged to /var/log ), I get
portmap: RPC call returned error 111 RPC: task of released request still queued RPC: (task is on xprt_pending)
and this repeats ad indefinitum, with occasionally
lockd_up: no pid 5 users??
(during shutdown I get
shutdown: no lockd running )
Ideas? Hints? The kernel is compiled with both gcc 2.7.2.3 and egcs 1.1, and it doesn't make a difference.
