When I try to use the smbmount utility that comes with the samba package (smbmount version 2.0.2) I get the message SMBFS: need mount version 6 written to the console... I use mount version 2.71 and linux kernel 2.1.125 The same using the same versions of smbmount and mount works fine on another computer using version 2.0.35 of the kernel. What is this mount version 6 that the kernel complains about and where can I get it?
