SubjectKernel do not freeze on fragmeted memory anymore (.78)
Date
To whom it may concern, this it to let you know.

A while ago, a posted several reports here, about 2.1.anything kernels
freezing on me, when the memory gets fragmented and TCP code tries to
allocate more buffers. The system in that state would not dispatch
any processes and could only be revived by MagicSysrq - kill all procs.

Now I have 2.1.78 running on the same machine for two days and a half,
and it is OK. Probably, the problen has gone away.

Another report: I noticed *when* I am getting `Ugh at ...' message: this
is every time when I switch from a text virtual screen to an X screen.
The `Ugh' address is in the do_page_fault() function.
