The attached patch against 2.1.80 has accumulated fixes and cleanups for the smbfs code. Changes include:
(1) Modified directory handling for problem with Win 95 OSR2 servers
(2) Alternate getattr call (conditionally enabled) to get three timestamps; works on NT, Win 95 ?
(3) Updated Documentation file
(4) Removal of last vestiges of cached dentry pointer in inode, and changes to pass dentry arguments where needed.
I'd like to get some further testing for item 2 from Win 95 users, both for OSR1 and OSR2.
