Here's a two liner for mm/vmscan.c that I convinced Linus to put in 2.1.76 (or so) - fixes potentially large chunks of unswappable memory caused by large processes fork()ing. Also, I'd like to see a newer version of our (Spellcaster's) ISDN driver in too (we aren't the ones who put the *really* old version in the tree).
