Absolutly snappyer -- In the one benchmark-type-thinger I did, times on
"ping localhost" went from .2 ms to .1 ms (under effectivly no system load
(except for the rc5des client, which uses all the CPU it can get at nice
19)). Note: please, get the rc5des client from www.distributed.net/desii --
the future of encription depends on it!

However, sound dosn't work (again)... Symptoms this time: modules compile
and load OK, but "cat /dev/random >/dev/audio" (or /dev/dsp) only produces a
short bit of static *after you kill cat*.

# dd if=/dev/random of=/dev/audio bs=100
<wait... ctrl-c>
0+59 records in
0+59 records out

The amount of static dosn't seem to depend on how much data you put out. It
would appear that mmaped sound is completly dead (from sqake and qwcl).
