    The FreeBSD people are working on a /devfs as well.

    I´d suggest that everyone takes a look at

    ftp://hub.freebsd.org/pub/scsi/README and the related source code

    before continuing with this discussion.

    It might help us avoiding a lot of unnecessary discussions and problems.
