SubjectRe: Solaris 2.6 and Linux

Someone from Sun posted some stats conducted by an independant company
regarding Solaris vs NT performance. I was just wondering if someone has
done equivelant tests on Linux, to see how we stack up..

The following performance testing was done by KeyLabs and summarizes the
throughtput differences between Solaris and NT. Take a look at:

http://www.checkpoint.com/products/technology/pdata_sol_nt.html

To summarize:
Solaris NT
Max Data Throughput 89.75 Mbps 29.62 Mbps
Max No of Concurrent Conn 23,000 9000
Max Connections per Sec 1774 863
