Done. The patch is about 260Kb long, so I won't bother mailing it out except
to people who ask for it.

Support is now in separate modules for COM20020, COM90xx, COM90xx in IO-mapped
mode, and RIM I cards. It's been tested with the first three, but I don't have
a RIM I card to play with.

How do I specify in Config.in that an option is only available as a module?
I tried
> dep_tristate "description" CONFIG_WHATEVER m
which worked with menuconfig but not xconfig.

Any advice on porting the driver to Windoze 95 would be appreciated in private
email.
