SubjectRE: Linux-2.0.31 - the Saga Continues...
Date
All,

I grabbed the pre31-6 patches, a pristine 2.0.30 tree and added in
the Cyrix
patches (I run a Cyrix 686 + TMC motherboard). It all built and ran
very sweetly.
This system functions as an IP masquerading box with a private ethernet
behind
it. On the other hand, I've not really seen many problems with 2.0.30
so maybe
I'm not an idea test site.

I'm having no luck getting 2.1.50 to boot, despite going back (I
think) to the
original memory sizing stuff. I don't see a thing after 'booting the
kernel'. Is
anyone else booting a TMC + Cyrix, if so can they build a kernel that
works?
