Maybe as a solution for now might be that if the BIOS report xMB test a few bytes above, if that works, then continue to test in chunks until it doesn't work, then work out close to exact, if you like I'll have a look at it and maybe come up with something?, while keeping compatability with old BIOS calls. Q: does this happen with particular BIOS's? eg. that report 16MB & 64MB (of course!)
