Greetings. I've just finished installing Linux on a nice P100 laptop. The default kernel has support for the 3c589 PCMCIA card as a module. When I go to rebuild the kernel (2.0.29), I see no mention _anywhere_ of the 3c589, not even in /Documentation. I've tried all of the other 3COM drivers, except the virtex series, and none havbe worked. PCMCIA support is in the kernel, not as a module. As far as I can tell, this is a kernel bug. Either way, please send all replies to me, not the list..
Thanks..
