The same happened with 2.0.27 device=FIREBALL_TM3200S Rev: 300X on a BusLogic 948. In addition some files changed owner id to 3599.
(The box where this happened is weird: If you change some hardware (like a PCI VGA or network card), it crashes)
This may well be a problem with the Fireball TM firmware. I tested this drive (on loan from Mylex/BusLogic) a while back and was able to produce data corruption under heavy load. A subsequent firmware version, 301B, seemed to be reliable. I suggest you try contacting Quantum for a firmware update.
