I had similar problems with an ST51270A--if I wrote a large file onto it, then read that file back several times, every now and then I'd get a different checksum. After trying the drive in several different PCs under several different operating systems, I returned it and have had no problems with the replacement drive. ___ Trevor Johnson <trevor@jpj.net>
