Just got 2.1.31 running. During boot, the usual identification of my SCSI HD and CD-ROM looked different. Usually, I get
ncr53c810-0-<0,0>: using tagged command queueing, up to 4 cmds/lun Vendor: CONNER Model: CFP1060S 1.05GB Rev: 203C Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02 Detected scsi disk sda at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0 Vendor: TOSHIBA Model: CD-ROM XM-3601TA Rev: 0265 Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
However, this time the lines with Vendor and Model info displayed as Vendor: C O N N E R with one space between all of the letters.
This didn't reflect in the dmesg output - only on the console.
