SubjectSomesort of memory bug exists in 2.1.35 badly.
This may be associated with the recent ext2fs problems but...

I'm running 2.1.35/i386/uniprocessor and every couple of days everything
quits working and typing anything in a preexisting shell just says...

    error: can't load libc.so.5

    for anything I try.

All I can do is reset the machine.

Today I got a new one. Everything quit working and this time commands
typed to a shell just got:

    file table overflow errors.

I don't know what these are or why they happening but they make 2.1.x
    kernels unusable.

Anybody know whats up with this?

    - Jeff
