that is strange and I just tried with my 2.0.30 cyrix only patched and I
havent see this yet... going to try to overload the interface some time
and send 10,000 packets and see what happens...

what may be happening is an integer has wrapped due to there being such a
sort time in the pings...

probably want to check the source code to ping first though...

;) never seen a normally-ish kernel before. Is that anything like
a good bugfree kernel?
