We can now read Macintosh CD-ROMs. Look on sunsite.unc.edu for the 'hfsfs' package - I believe the latest version is 0.7.6, but there may be a newer one now. It reads the HFS filesystem (does some writing on writable HFS filesystems), and I've been able to read Mac CDs with it before on a Mitsumi 4x IDE CD-ROM drive.
