It is huge for ftping (9Mb), but not for keeping in memory.

If you ftped the source you would see how I make it (apparently, ifdef'd)

It is very simple: disable swap, then make one pass,
than raise iopl and set cli. Make measurement pass, and sti.
Simple and stupid.
