Hello all!
I would like to examine some kernel data structures. The proc man page told me under "kcore" that with an unstripped kernel binary /usr/src/linux/tools/zSystem gdb can be used to examine these data structures. I have the source code of my linux system 2.0.0, but in the linux directory there is no directory named tools and there's no file zSystem anywhere.
Can anyone please direct me where to get that unstripped kernel binary? btw, what does this mean, an "unstripped" kernel binary?
Thanks in advance! gernot. -- gernot kerschbaumer student of computer science at the technical university of austria email: e9018967@stud2.tuwien.ac.at homepage: http://stud2.tuwien.ac.at/~e9018967/
