Subject2.1.76 breaks diald
From
Date
Hi...

brief system config: glibc2, diald 0.16.4, ppp 2.3.2.

diald refuses to start. I have narrowed the problem down to the route
program, which dies with a SIOCDARRT error.

Apparently, there is a problem with the SLIP interface that diald is
using. I tried "ifconfig sl0 up" and got an error message saying sl0
is an unknown device. Yes, it is properly compiled into the kernel.

Everything is fine in 2.1.65. I upgraded from there to 2.1.76.
