Hi Scott, the diffs I submitted were a compilation of two parts:

a- User space daemon patches that I found floating around in various postings
and that as an extra included a patch to, suposedly, make MSCHAP work
again with ppp-2.3.2, I used them out mainly for the 230400 and 460800
support as I do not use myself MSCHAP.

b- Linux Kernel driver which I built but which was an ugly hack because
it is targetted to Linux-2.1.69+ and doesn't have the pretty
'#ifdef version this or that' and so it can not be used with previous
kernels...

I am sending the compilation of the patches for the user space daemon
including your last patch and the patch for the kernel ppp driver with pretty
'#ifdef this or that...' to the linux ppp maintainer (Al Longyear) and also to
the linux-kernel list just in case that it become useful for somebody :-)
