My input was not a complaint. Yes I have removed all vistage of the previous C runtime library, including headers that will prevent me from ever compiling X, Motif, jpeg, xview, etc. Also their libraries.
This will help me test the new glibc. I understand that a portable 'C' runtime library is a major accomplishment and I am hoping to be of assistance in the area of testing. You note that from previous communications, I have disclosed a few real problems.
I also acknowledge that you and your group have responded immediately and are quick to supply good information in response and are continuing to test in the few areas where I have discovered unusual behavior.
Cheers, Dick Johnson
