Me too. <aol> </aol> and all that.

2.1.x works fine. But try this: load your system _heavily_, then try and
start it. It should start. Kill of the load, and happily play. So: race
condition in quake, or mm-related 2.0.x bug?

As to the load, a few dd's accross your hard drive block device, coupled
with a bit of swapping. Or boot with mem=8M, maybe.
