SubjectRe: SNAPSHOT: with P5 f00f bugfix

Hello !

I am running REDHAT linux 4.2 kernel 2.0.30. I downloaded kernel source
2.1.63-VGER-CVS971112 from David's site and tried to compile on my P-166.

Problem:
When I do make dep I get following error

align-functions=2 -DCPU=586 -E -D__GENKSYMS__ ksyms.c\
| /sbin/genksyms -k 2.1.63 >
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/modules/ksyms.ver.tmp
usage: genksyms [-gwqdD] directory
cpp: output pipe has been closed
make[1]: *** [/usr/src/linux/include/linux/modules/ksyms.ver] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.1.63/kernel'
make: *** [dep-files] Error 2

As it can be seen getksyms on my host do not support '-k' option.

What does this -k option do; Where can I get a latest version of getksyms
so that '-k' option is supported.

Thanks for any help
