As I recall from the original email, some of the machines are 2.0.31
machines. It's entirely possible that the inode fix in 2.0.32-pre-3 and
above could help in this situation if the NFS code is having inode related
problems (blocking when it doesn't expect to or some such, which would be
consistent with the freezes that were mentioned).
