hello,
i jsut wanted to upgrade my system from 0.27 to 1.23, but got the following error: make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux/kernel' gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -fno-strength-reduce -m486 -malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -DCPU=586 -E -D__GENKSYMS__ ksyms.c\ | /sbin/genksyms -k 2.1.23 > /usr/src/linux/include/linux/modules/ksyms.ver.tmp usage: genksyms [-gwqdD] directory cpp: output pipe has been closed
now i am using binutils-2.7.tar.gz and thought it was the last version.... so what's going wrong??
