Have you tried bitching on the aic7xxx@freebsd.org mailing list? (subscribe by sending mail to majordomo@freebsd.org)
Were you using any development kernels/patches? You didn't give any useful debugging info :-/
Take a look at the AIC7XXX development site once in a while: ftp://ftp.teleport.com/pub/users/deang/Linux/aic7xxx/ It is maintained by Dean Gehnert, but I don't think there has been anything new in a while.
