there is no 'rdmsr' in 2.0.28, according to 'grep'.
It was only one 2.0 version that had 'rdmsr' in it, 2.0.26 i think. All later kernels had the backwards compatible byte defines.
So the solution is to get either a new kernel, or new binutils.
