Strange, 2.1.21, modutils-970104, ne2000 loaded as a module works fine
for me. I did a 'make mrproper' before compiling and made sure that
modutils 970104 was installed in /sbin with no old copies lying around.
This is compiling *without* CONFIG_MODVERSIONS. Any chance you have an
old depmod/insmod or an old copy of 8390.o or ne.o somewhere?
