Just compiled 2.0.28 with the exact same config I used on 2.0.27, but sound no longer works. When I try to play what were valid .wav files under 2.0.27, it responds "/dev/dsp: Out of memory".
Huh?
Catting /dev/sndstat does show all the normal stuff for my gus max sound card.
Catting known good .au files to /dev/audio:
/dev/audio: Out of memory
Isn't revision 28 of the supposedly "stable" kernel a bit late to be coming up with new bugs?
