SubjectRe: BUG: Apache/Stronghold and Linux 2.0.X -Reply
Here's a note to all of you wondering why some people can get
Apache 1.1.1 to work on Linux 2.0.2[567] and some can't.

From my experience, it appears that the failures of Apache
are related to using Apache as a proxy server. When I was
using it as a proxy server, I would get hung processes
galore; a few other people with the same system configuration,
but not running Apache as a proxy, had no problems.

I think we need to start identifying what changes we made to
the module configuration when building Apache so we can get a
better idea of what exactly is the problem area.
