SubjectPre 2 compile problems

I was able to compile pre-2.1 kernel (but it never boot, I have a
486), so I downloaded pre2.1-#2. Ran the patch against a full tree of
kernel 2.0.21. It starts compiling the kernel and then it prompts two
errors in segment.h Here is the full error listing( from make zImage):

In file includede from /usr/src/linux/include/asm/system.h:4,
from init/main.c:14:
/usr/src/linux/include/asm/segment.h:277: parse error before '?'
/usr/src/linux/include/asm/segment.h:282: parse error before '?'

Trying to restore the copying the original segment.h file prolonged a
little the compilation but got stuck a just a fre steps head.
I'm no hacker (not yet at least) so please be patient and explain what I
did wrong please.

TIA

Paolo
