    I assure you that a root privileged program can crash _ANY_ Unix
    OS. Remember that root can access any hardware without restriction.
    This includes timers, interrupts, IO ports, memory, all kinds of stuff.
    There is typically a bit of a procedure to do it, but it is allowed.

    That is a legitimate complaint and completely different from running
    crashme as root.
