Yes, it's a missing feature. I agree that it would be nice to have, but
it's not life-threatening.

But a missing feature is not a bug. This is not the time to be adding
features to 2.0.

It probably will be. But first we need to let 2.0 stablise. People who
have a burning need for PCI NE2000 autodetect can upgrade to 2.1.
