Subjectminor hassle in the Makefile?
Hi all!

Is this meant to be there twice?

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/v2.0.13/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes
-O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strength-reduce -pipe -m386 -DCPU=386
-DPARANOID -fno-builtin -DPARANOID -fno-builtin -c -o reg_ld_str.o
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
reg_ld_str.c

Also, as of 2.0.13, the load command from menuconfig still does not change
the CPU type the kernel is compiled for. I have to make mrproper to have it
working. It has always been so. Is there a reason?

All The Best,
Marco

Excuse the waste of bandwidth, please send flames to my alternate address
