SubjectOops/GPF in 2.0.1
Date
Going into (for example) /usr/src/linux and doing a
make -j modules
causes an Oops (first time, thereafter a GPF) and a gpf. 2
of the cc1's from gcc die from signal 11. This happens to
occur in the drivers/sound directory.

It seems to use about 40Meg of my 64 Meg swap.

This works fine under 2.0.0 (exact same tree, doing the same things
after boot, etc).

If you need more info or testing than the following, let me know. I
would be happy to help.

All of these seem to be dieing in __get_free_pages. Here are the
details...

This is repeatable. doing the same command again will result in
2 more GPF's in the same place.
