SubjectRe: Kernel 2.0 - HD mounting Problems
Isamar Maia:

: I installed yesterday an aditional 850Mb Harddrive. I did 2 partitions,
: 400 and 450Mb. And I formatted them with normal procedure. When I try to
: mount them, mount says...
: Segmentation fault

I would conjecture that you have bad libraries.
Probably not a kernel problem, so not for this list.
Probably not a mount problem either.

Anyway, this report is too vague to be of any use.
When there is a problem, give at least the kernel version,
and the version of the program (here mount), the command
given, and the error message. If "mount -t type dev dir" fails,
what about just "mount"?

The latest mount is ftp.win.tue.nl:/pub/linux/util/mount-2.5k.tar.gz
