Hi there,
I'am not a Linux hacker yet so maybe this question sounds stupid, but please help me out.
I got myself a new kernel (1.3.99), I made myself a new kernel and rebooted the machine. The system is comming up but with some minor errors. So I looked in some information-files and there was sead that I needed some more modules to be compatible with the kernel, and so I did some hours of downloading.
Now the question: where to put these files, and how to get them working?
The files I'am talking about are for exapmle: binutile-2.6.0 gcc-2.7.2 gpm-1.09 ld.so-1.7.14 libc-5.3.12 libg+-2.7.1.4 make-3.74 modules-1.3.57 (69k) etc.
Please HELP me out, or better into the new Linux-kernel with lesser errors.
w.g.r. George
