SubjectDropping PPP
Since I'm new to the ListServ and I'm not that experienced with
Linux I can't supply a lot of info but.

My iSP won't cut a PPP link at any time but my PPP seems to decide
it wants to drop carrier randomly. It averages 90% of the time when idle
for more than 5-10 minutes.

I'm using the Pre 2.0.10 Kernel
System:
P-100
8meg Ram & 16meg Swap
PPPd 2.2.0
TCP/PPP all internal Kernel options, not module
No Firewall ect......
