SubjectRe: Hard Drive Problem
I also have this problem, I lso have 4 devices off my ide buss's (VLB
controller) only one hard drive does this and exibits simular messages
and will lock up hard. I though it was just a hard drive going bad but
now Ido not know. The hard drive is older and the problem does not
follow a pattern that I can discern however it seems to be somewhat
responsive to external things, I have placed it in every concevable
configeration even changing the cables and placing a low level format
over my data (oops). I am willing to take suggestions/experimentations
be cause i am PO at it.
