Greetings all. Some time ago, there was a patch to make the lp drivers work properly again, but I had deleted it before discovering that our print server was affected by this.
So, can anyone point me to the patches to make printing perform acceptibly again using polling mode? Or, better yet, Linus, could you undo the changes you made that "broke" printing, or make it a configurable option?
As it is right now under 1.99.10, our DX4/100, 16MB is almost useless for other things when printing, and we have some print jobs that go for more than 24 hours at a time.
