SubjectRe: real kernel bloat

I am not just being rhetorical (I really don't know).

But are any of these Unix's that have all of these features less than 5
years old?

Also, with two different methods, (gzip -cd linux-2.0.0 | wc) and (find
/usr/src/linux -name *.[chS] | xargs cat | wc) I am getting around 716,000
to 770,000 lines of code... This sounds like a lot, is this close to
accurate?

Parents: this version of Linux contains small components that new
users may pick up and put in their mouth.
