Argh, right, I haven't had access to a SparcClassic since the
beginning of the summer to get complete sets of new numbers. I had it
close to 6.5MB/s before I left.

So for those playing at home, this means:

Solaris memcpy()'s at 7MB/s
Linux can do full TCP networking at 6.25MB/s
