(Which is an outgrowth of Linux kernel, ie it is offtopic with respect to kernel development not offtopic with respect to Linux per se...)
IE things you could discuss: Linux in general the rest of the world.. (physics for example)
IE things you can't talk about on linux-offtopic. Serious linux kernel development (it's ... off topic there. :)
