SubjectBytes hanging in NFS socket?
Date
From
In a few recent kernels, I've observed that sometimes, a NFS socket
seems to keep data around:

Active Internet connections
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address (State) User
[...]
udp 3403 0 129.13.110.66:662 129.13.253.10:2049 ESTABLISHED

They seem to be thrown away with the next operation on the directory,
or so it seems. I've observed no ill effects, but this still seems
strange.

The joy of engineering is to find a straight line on a double
logarithmic diagram.
