I keep getting (every couple of days) this kernel panic on one of my servers:
Kernel panic: scsi_free: Bad offset In swapper task - not syncing.
I am using 1.3.72 at the moment, when I first installed the machine it ran for 55 days without incident, now it doesn't seem happy. Is this a problem that would go away if I used a newer kernel, or do I have something more fundamentally wrong ?
System:
PCIset Pentium 75 16 Mb RAM, 32 Mb swap Adaptec 2940 Fujitsu 1Gb SCSI II hd (no other SCSI devices)
Running:
1.3.72 (on a Slackware 3.0 base) netatalk 1.3.3 (it's sole purpose at the moment)
