Possibly my last report before my holiday 8-)
On my friend's computer (Pentium 75 with SiS motherboard) the following message was found in /proc/pci:
Bus 0 device 0 function 0 Unknown class: Silicon Integrated Systems 85C501 (rev 57)
Is this a bug in the Linux code, in the ROM-BIOS, or in the PCI device? Independent of that, wouldn't it be wise to print the number of the unknown class? It seems to be a good idea for unknown values anyway.
Ulrich P.S. Remember that I'm already unsubscribed, and I will probably able to reply only to messages that arrive before 16:00 MEST (Middle European DST ("Sommerzeit", +0200))
