SubjectWeird TCP lockups.

I know this kernel deals mostly w/ bleeding edge kernel questions, but I
think this might be useful to know.

I just installed Slackware 3.0.0, running 1.2.13 kernel. libc 5.0.9 .

All tcp connections are being refused from my system, from the outside.
telnet . isn't even working. Nor is telnet localhost or telnet 127.0.0.1
. I do run tcp-wrappers using hosts.[deny][allow], and until a few
minutes ago, everythign was working just fine.

If anyone has seen this behavior before, please let me know what it is,
and if it is solveable! It appears to me that the only way around this is
to reboot.

Thanks!
